Crema de Vie

I remember being a little girl going into the refrigerator and sneaking sips of this delicious creamy drink that I was only allowed to have a small cupful. I had no idea what it was called, I just knew it was sooo delicious.  I also didn't know there were 2 versions of the drink (kid-friendly and adult-friendly) and I don't know which one I was drinking. Pero like we won't talk about that right now.  As I grew up, I finally found out this magical drink was called Crema de Vie which is Cuban eggnog. I eventually started making it myself and have made it a tradition in our family. I do make a kid-friendly version and make sure to mark it clearly just in case we have other Isabelitas sneaking into our fridge on Christmas eve. 

Crema de vie Scent:

The scent blends sweetened condensed milk vanilla and rum.

 Note: This is our interpretation of what Crema de Vie smells like.
