Noche Buena

Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. Specifically, Noche Buena. A Cuban Christmas is not something you will normally see on television. We don't have visions of sugar plums dancing in our heads. Our dreams are filled with pastelitos de guava, panetela borachas, buñelos, and of course flan. We don't traditionally have turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce for dinner. A Cuban Noche Buena feast is all about a Lechon asado, white rice, frijoles negros, and don't forget the yucca with the mojo sauce. There is always loud music playing, and loud people talking over the music. Las Tia's gathered around getting all the years chisme and of course the dancers who dance even as they are grabbing a plate of food. You can count on your Tio's playing dominos drinking rum, smoking their cigars, and arguing about...well who knows what they say.. they just like to argue. The chaos of the music, loud talking, and kids running around asking if it's midnight yet because they want to open gifts is what brings us all together. Let our Noche Buena candle take you away to a place filled with love laughter and joy!

 While this Noche Buena candle does NOT smell like Lechon asado. It does bring a sense of Culture and deliciousness. 

Noche Buena Scent:

This scent is a citrus-infused blend with a spiced apple scent and a hint of holiday spices cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, and cardamom mixed with sweet cider sitting on A base of cashmere musk.

Note: This is our interpretation of what Noche Buena smells like.
